One woman’s journey through the program beautifully illustrated how access to language and education can change the course of a life—and ripple outward to strengthen families and entire communities. With a delicious brunch setting the tone, trusted local professionals shared practical guidance on topics like senior financing, estate planning, retirement versus aging considerations, and elder law. What made the event especially meaningful was its approachable format—no pressure, no jargon, just honest conversations and real-world insight. Our speakers, including Laura Gray from Liberty Savings Bank, Debbie Zipes and Dan Erickson from Venice Estate Sales, Wendy Rickenbach from Hometown Senior Solutions, and Joshua Perez from Berlin Patten, helped break down complex topics into clear, usable information.
