Desiree Daniels, Customer Service Representative II, and the entire team at the Monaco branch of Liberty Savings Bank is pleased to have raised $2,664 for the March of Dimes. The group had set themselves a goal of $2,000 yet their hard work and dedication earned them much more. The March of Dimes was founded in 1938 to combat polio and to improve the health of mothers and babies.
The March of Dimes hard work continues today with a focus on preventing birth defects and fighting premature birth. The money donated to March of Dimes helps fund research into the genetic causes of birth defects, promoting the screening of newborns, and education programs that help teach best practices for healthy pregnancy.
Liberty Savings Bank is pleased to support such a worthwhile cause and will continue working hard into the future.
